Hand 88

Here’s my 88th hand, and I’m really looking forward to hitting the 100th! This one was a bit tricky with the shadows using the Micron pen, but I think I managed to pull it off pretty well. I like the strength and expressive feel of this drawing. I’m hoping to create a few hands in color or paint before I’m done, and I’m planning on another hand tomorrow :)

Here is my hand #63, another attempt at using a thin black drawing pen. I am still struggling with perspective and want to continue trying to get better at it!  I like the feeling though of the dark outlined areas, it helps give the hand more strength and emotion.  I will probably continue black ink again next time!

Here is my hand 64!  This was a difficult drawing probably because of the perspective and multiple fine lines in hand. But I'm thankful I was able to find time to draw this today. Happy Presidents' Day and hoping you find some time today for friends/family/alone time...

Hand 65

Here is my hand 65, just can't believe I've not had the time to draw for so long. Last year was very difficult personally, sure hope I will finish this #100DaysOfHands before the end of 2020. Made myself a promise I'll finish what I started! I drew this hand in colored pencil—Having not drawn for so long don't think it's that bad.  I feel the shadows really help round out the hand. And the layered colors really worked well together helping the pencil drawing look somewhat like a painting. The purple fingernails make for a rich color contrast with the warm hand tones!
